Abstract
The processing performance of an entire system is enhanced by efficiently using CPU resources shared by a plurality of guests. A serverincludes a host OSand a plurality of guest OSsA andB running on a plurality of virtual machinesA andB, respectively, which are virtually constructed on the host OS. The plurality of virtual machinesA andB shares CPU resources implemented by hardware. A guest priority calculation unitof a resource management device (resource management unit) calculates a processing priority of at least one of the guest OSsbased on at least one of a packet transfer rate from the host OSto the guest OSand an available capacity status of a kernel buffer of the host OS. A resource utilization control unitcontrols allocation of a utilization time for CPU resources to be used by the plurality of guest OSsbased on the calculated processing priority.
