The spot-welding electrode inspection device is provided with: a camera unitincluding a camera bodyfor taking an image of a tip-end of a spot-welding electrodehaving a welding gun G attached thereto; a control unitfor controlling the camera unit; a camera cableconnecting the camera unitand the control unit. The control unitis provided with: a control substratefor processing the image taken by the camera bodyand determining the condition of the electrodeby comparing a processing result of the image and a setting value which is set in advance; and a metal casinghousing the control substrate. The casingis attached to a basemade of a metal material.
