Abstract

A method for handling a Message A physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission in a random access channel (RACH) procedure for use in fifth generation new radio (5G NR) wireless communication system includes determining that the Message A PUSCH transmission in a first step of a two-step RACH procedure overlaps with at least one other uplink physical channel transmission and transmitting at least one of the Message A PUSCH transmission or the at least one other uplink physical channel transmission in accordance with a priority rule.
