Abstract
An electrolytic solution for an electrochemical device including a magnesium electrode as a negative electrode is provided. The electrolytic solution includes a linear ether solvent. The linear ether solvent includes a first magnesium salt having a disilazide structure represented by a general formula (RSi)N where R represents a hydrocarbon radical with one or more and ten or less carbon atoms and a second magnesium salt without the disilazide structure.
