Abstract
The cooling water temperature control device includes a thermo valvethat opens a main flow passage Rwhen the temperature of a sensed region Rin the main flow passage Rreaches or exceeds an operating temperature set in advance, a sub-valvethat opens and closes a sub-flow passage Rbypassing the thermo valveand a control unitthat opens the sub-valvewhen the temperature of the cooling water on an upstream side of the thermo valveis a predetermined temperature. One end on the upstream side of the sub-flow passage Ris connected to the sensed region Rin the main flow passage Ror to a downstream side of the sensed region Rand the operating temperature of the thermo valveis set to be equal to or lower than the predetermined temperature.
