A relief valveincludes: a housingconnected to a supply-side connection pipeand a discharge-side connection pipeand has an inflow portand an outflow port; a valve seat (an opening rim) provided in the housing; a main valve bodywhich is placed in the housing, and capable of cutting off communication between the inflow portand the outflow portin the housingby being seated on the valve seat (the opening rim); and a biasing memberthat biases the main valve bodytoward the valve seat (the opening rim), wherein the inflow portis provided in the housingsuch that the inflow portis decentered with respect to a central axis line of the main valve bodyin a direction in which a supply pipeextends.
