Abstract
A multilayer coil component includes an insulator portion, a coil embedded in the insulator portion and including a plurality of coil conductor layers electrically connected together, and an outer electrode disposed on a surface of the insulator portion and electrically connected to the coil. At least one of the coil conductor layers includes an extended portion and a winding portion, and is connected to the outer electrode via the extended portion. The area S of an exposed portion of the extended portion exposed from the insulator portion is 0.018 mmor more.
