A compact washing machine capable of improving detergency or reducing a washing time is provided. A drummay be rotatably installed in a tubinstalled in the inside of a housingin the state in which an openingis toward an opening of the drum. A pulsatorhaving a protrusionextending in a radial direction may be rotatably installed on a bottom of the drum.
