Abstract

A mucous membrane lifting instrument includes: a tubular hood having a proximal end attachable to a distal end of an endoscope; a first band having an elasticity, and arranged on an outer peripheral surface of the hood in a stretched state; a second band having an elasticity, and arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the hood in a stretched state at a position proximal of the first band; and a linear member that is connected to the first band, and passes between the outer peripheral surface of the hood and the second band.
