Abstract
A system () and method for controlling a function of a mobile device () over a secure wireless network is disclosed herein. The system () comprises a mobile device () for a vehicle (), a connected vehicle device () comprising on-vehicle data for the vehicle (), and an off vehicle source selected from a database, a cloud source, or a physical structure. The system () is configured to access and combine off-vehicle content with on-vehicle data in order to enable, disable or manage at least one function of the mobile device () over the secure wireless network.
