Abstract
A vehicle system receives a search request, such as from a remote server or other vehicle. The system, responsive to the search request, searches for one or more device signals using one or more sensors of the vehicle. Further, the system records any device signatures associated with any device signals detected by the search and transmits the device signatures to a remote server. The remote server may take further action, such as, but not limited to, alerting the authorities, disabling a vehicle or vehicle system, and/or notifying a vehicle owner, based on processing the received signatures.
