Abstract
A user equipment, UE, receives radio resource control, RRC, signaling from a peer UE (). The RRC signaling indicates radio layer parameters supported by the peer UE () or indicates whether radio layer parameters supported by the peer UE () are compatible with radio layer parameters required for a connection between the peer UE () and the UE. The UE determines whether or not to establish a connection towards the peer UE () based on the received RRC signaling.
