Abstract

The invention relates to a long-range optical device comprising at least one sight channel and an image capturing channel, and a processing unit. The image capturing channel may include a camera module with an autofocus function. The sight channel may include a focusing lens and sensor connect to the processing unit for detecting the movement of the focusing lens. The processing unit may be programmed to trigger the autofocus function when termination of movement of the focusing lens is detected.
