Abstract
Provided are a rubber material supplying method and a rubber material supplying device, whereby a rubber material can be smoothly supplied to a rubber inlet even when the width of the rubber material is greater than the width of the rubber inlet. The rubber material supplying method includes a separation step S, a processing step S, and an input step S. In the separation step S, a plurality of different cutoutsare formed in a leading end section GF of a rubber material G, and the leading end section GF is separated into three or more strip shape sections. In the processing step S, second strip shape sections B, and not first strip shape sectionsA, among the plurality of strip sectionsare each cut out or folded. In the input step S, the leading end section GF is input to the rubber inletA from the first strip shape sectionsA.
