Abstract
An optical system includes an aperture stop, a first optical element disposed on one of an object side and an image side of the aperture stop, and a second optical element disposed on the other of the object side and the image side. Each of the first optical element and the second optical element includes an area in which a transmittance changes in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis. The following conditional expressions are satisfied:0.60≤|1/1|<|2/2|≤1.40,0.40≤1(1)/2(2)<0.98, and0.30≤2×1/φ1≤0.70.
