Abstract
A hydraulic system () for a transmission () of a motor vehicle () includes a pump system () with a first pressure outlet () and a second pressure outlet (), a primary circuit (), a secondary circuit (), and a system pressure valve () that has a system pressure valve slide (). A secondary pump pressure (P) output from the second pressure outlet () of the pump system () is fed to a radial pressure surface () of the system pressure valve slide (), and therefore an axial load based on the secondary pump pressure (P) acts upon the radial pressure surface () of the system pressure valve slide () such that the system pressure valve slide () tends to move counter to a mechanical preload force out of a first switching position into a second switching position.
