Abstract
A superconducting cable () includes a superconducting cable core () and a corrugated pipe () storing the superconducting cable core (). The superconducting cable core () has a corrugated pipe (), a superconductor () provided on the outer peripheral side of the corrugated pipe (), and a heat insulating pipe () stored in the corrugated pipe () and having a smooth inner peripheral surface. A coolant flows through a flow passage (FP) formed in the heat insulating pipe () and then flows through a flow passage (FP) formed between an outer peripheral surface of the corrugated pipe () and an inner peripheral surface of the corrugated pipe ().
