Abstract
To provide a negative electrode for nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries, by which the structural deterioration of the electrode is suppressed and cycle characteristics can be improved by absorbing the expansion and contraction of a silicon-based active material placed in the inside of a current collector made of porous metal, and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery including the same.
