Abstract
A thin faux fireplace that can be installed in a wall, such as a 2″×4″ wall, having a faux flame viewable from both sides of the faux fireplace. A transparent material, such as glass, is coated with a thin film having nano sized particles, and an ultra short-throw projector displays the faux flame on the thin film. A user can see object on the other side of the faux fireplace, and also view the faux flame on the thin film rooms on both sides of the transparent material.
