Abstract

A base station () transmits, to a radio terminal (), downlink control information including a first field for indicating frequency domain resources and a second field for indicating time domain resources allocated to the radio terminal (). The base station () reduces the size of the first field as it increases the size of the second field. This can, for example, contribute to improving flexibility in time domain resource assignment without increasing the size of the downlink control information (e.g., scheduling DCI) that indicates radio resources allocated to the radio terminal.
