Abstract

An air purifier () includes a detection unit () and a control unit (). The detection unit () periodically detects environment information. The environment information indicates information relating to an environment around the air purifier (). The control unit () determines whether or not the environment information satisfies a specific condition a plurality of times during the specific time period (Ts) corresponding to an event within a prescribed period (Ta). In a case where the control unit () determines that the environment information satisfies the specific condition a plurality of times, the control unit switches a mode from a learning mode to an implementation mode. In the implementation mode, in a case where the environment information meets a trigger during the specific time period, the control unit () performs event operational control.
