Abstract
The invention relates to a revolving door () having a rotatable door leaf element () which has at least three door leaves () which are fitted to a vertical centre axle (), and having at least one part-circular wall portion () which is arranged adjacent to the rotation circle of the door leaf element (), wherein an electronic reading unit () for wireless reading of data from transponders () is orientated towards a reading space delimited by the wall portion () and a pair of door leaves (), wherein the wall portion () which delimits the reading space covers the pair of door leaves () which form a passage space in a reading position of the revolving door () in order to contribute via the door leaf element () and the wall portion () which overlaps the door leaf () to the electromagnetic shielding of the reading space in the reading position.
