Abstract
Glass compositions include one or more of silica (SiO), magnesia (MgO) and alumina (AlO) as essential components and may optionally include sodium oxide (NaO), potassium oxide (KO), zirconia (ZrO), titania (TiO), zinc oxide (ZnO), manganese oxide (MnO), hafnium oxide (HfO) and other components. The glasses may be characterized by low density at room temperature.
