Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for configuring a second home automation device (D) by means of replacing a first home automation device (D), the method comprising the following steps: recording (ERU) at least one set of configuration data or instructions (cfg) associated with a unique identifier of a first home automation device (D); receiving (ERU) a configuration request from a second home automation device (D); determining (ERU) an association between the second home automation device (D) on the one hand and the first home automation device (D) on the other hand; determining (ERU) at least one set of configuration data or instructions (cfg) associated with the second home automation device (D); sending (ERU) at least one configuration message (MCfg) comprising the at least one set of configuration data or instructions (cfg) to the second home automation device (D).
