Abstract

A method of mounting a telecommunications frame () to a floor surface includes fixing a floor mounting template () to the floor surface, wherein the template () defines a front end () and a rear end () and first and second sides () extending therebetween, sliding the telecommunications frame () over the floor mounting template () in a direction extending from the front end () to the rear end () of the template, wherein the template () is positioned within a gap () defined by spaced-apart walls () of the telecommunications frame (), and securing the first side () of the floor mounting template () to a first portion of the telecommunications frame () and securing the second side () of the floor mounting template () to a second portion of the telecommunications frame ().
