Abstract
A sound-absorbing material for vehicles that is mounted to a vehicle interior and that is provided with a main body in which at least a fibrous material and a skin material are integrally molded. The sound-absorbing material for vehicles is characterized in that a sound-absorbing section provided to at least part of the main body is formed so as to be mounted to the vehicle interior within a range in which the vertical distance Elh from the lower surface of the head rests of the front seats downward is 0.1-0.4 m, and in that the air flow resistance AFR (Ns/m) and the vertical distance Elh (m) satisfy 210<AFR+10/Elh<3020.
