Abstract
A process for producing a monocrystalline layer of diamond or iridium material comprises transferring a monocrystalline seed layer of SrTiOmaterial onto a carrier substrate of silicon material, followed by epitaxial growth of the monocrystalline layer of diamond or iridium material.
