Abstract
Disclosed is a video editing method including: acquiring an editing instruction to be executed from a user; calling a template video stored in advance according to the editing instruction, and acquiring a time axis representing duration of the template video; and overlaying the time axis on a progress bar of an editing video to indicate, by a combination of the time axis and the progress bar, a position of the template video in the editing video. A video editing apparatus and a smart mobile terminal are further provided.
