Provided is an information processing apparatus including an output control unit that controls an output based on a result of recognition processing for a user input. Further, in a situation where a plurality of users is present, the output control unit dynamically controls, for each of the users, an output of an executability state of the recognition processing for the user input. Furthermore, provided is an information processing method including, by a processor, controlling an output based on a result of recognition processing for a user input.
