Abstract
An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes a head-mounted display that is mounted on a head of a user and has a camera unit configured to acquire a view image obtained by imaging a field of view in front of the user, and a puncture needle length calculation unit () that, in a case where at least a part of the puncture needle is imaged by the camera unit, recognizes the puncture needle by performing image analysis on the view image, and calculates a length of the puncture needle in the view image.
