Abstract
There is provided a method, performed by a network unit, for enabling management of random access attempts in a wireless communication system by a plurality of devices having wireless communication capabilities. The method comprises obtaining (S) information representing the load of random access attempts, and determining (S), based on the information representing the load of random access attempts, control information for controlling a distribution of the random access attempts over time.
