Abstract

The invention relates to a sensor device () for a vehicle (), comprising a control unit () for actuating a movable part (), in particular a tailgate, of the vehicle (), and a sensor unit () for monitoring at least one first activation region (A), wherein the control unit () is designed to actuate the movable part () of the vehicle () when at least one activation action (H, H, H, B, B) of a user in the first activation region (A) has been sensed by the sensor unit (). The sensor unit () is designed to sense the at least one activation action (H, H, H, B, B) of the user by means of electromagnetic waves in the radio frequency range.
