In Formula M(L)(L)(L), ligand Lis ligand Lis and ligand Lis and OLEDs and formulations containing these compounds are disclosed. In Formula M(L)(L)(L); M is a metal; x is 1 or 2; X-Xand A-Aare C or N; at least one of A-Ais N; X is O, S, or Se; two adjacent Rform a six-member aromatic ring E fused to ring B; and each R-Rand RRis independently hydrogen or a substituent.
