Abstract
A method of producing a coal mixture includes blending a plurality of coals, wherein formula (1) and formula (2) are satisfied: α≤1.2×10(mol/g-coal) (2)wherein αis a hydrogen ion release capacity per unit mass (mol/g-coal) of the coal mixture, αis the hydrogen ion release capacity per unit mass (mol/g-coal) of a coal i, xis a blending ratio of the coal i blended in the coal mixture, and N is a total number of brands of coal contained in the coal mixture.
