Abstract
A glass substrate comprises a glass clad layer fused to a glass core layer. The glass core layer comprises a core glass composition having an average core coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) and the glass clad layer comprises a clad glass composition having an average clad coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) that is less than the CTE. A maximum tensile stress in the glass core layer is less than 15 MPa.
