Provided is a heterocyclic compound of Chemical Formula 1: where Xis O or S; Land Lare each independently a single bond, a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene, a substituted or unsubstituted naphthylene, or a substituted or unsubstituted biphenylenyl; Yto Yare each independently N or CR, provided that at least one of Yto Yis N; and Arand Arare each independently a substituted or unsubstituted Caryl or a substituted or unsubstituted Cheteroaryl containing 1 to 3 heteroatoms selected from the group consisting of N, O and S;and an organic light emitting device comprising the same, where the compound of Chemical Formula 1 can be used as a material of an organic material layer of an organic light emitting device and can exhibit improved efficiency, a low driving voltage and/or improved lifetime characteristics of the organic light emitting device.
