Abstract
Systems and methods for transferring data via a two-way radio transmission are described herein. An example method commences with collecting asset data, determining conditions for transmission of the asset data to a data server, and determining a mode for the transmission of the asset data. The method continues with preprocessing the asset data for the transmission. The preprocessing includes determining that the conditions for transmission of the asset data satisfy predetermined criteria and setting priorities for one or more parts of the asset data. The priorities are set based at least on a type of the data and a location of the data collection device. The method further includes transmitting the asset data to a data server. The asset data is transmitted based on the mode for the transmission and the priorities via at least one of the one or more communication channels.
