Abstract
An endoscope in which an erecting operation of a treatment tool erecting base can be smoothly performed during an operation of the endoscope is provided. An endoscope according to the present invention has an operation sectionprovided with an erecting operation leverand angle knobs; an insertion sectionthat is provided on a distal end side of the operation sectionand that has a bending partthat is moved to be bent by an operation of the angle knobs; an erecting baseprovided at a distal end partof the insertion section; and a movable memberthat is arranged to be exposed to outside of the operation sectionand that moves in association with an operation of the erecting operation lever. The endoscope includes a wirethat is coupled to the erecting baseat a distal end side thereof, that is coupled to the movable memberat a proximal end side thereof, and that is pushed/pulled in accordance with a movement of the movable memberto move the erecting base; and an attachment memberthat is provided at a proximal end of the wireand that is engaged with the movable memberin an attachable/detachable manner. The movable memberis arranged at a surface of the operation sectionopposite to a surface of the operation sectionat which the angle knobsare arranged.
