Abstract

A collapsible container, in particular a drinking cup, includes a cup-shaped element (), made from a flexible deformable material, having a lower base part (), a top part () with an opening () and side wall sections () arranged therebetween. The side wall sections () can be folded towards each other along fold lines () formed into the material of the cup-shaped element (). The cup-shaped element () can be folded together by twisting the base part () to the top part (). The fold lines () are oriented so that the cup-shaped element () constricts, as a result of torsion, between the base part () and the upper part () when twisting the base part ().
