Abstract

The present invention can provide a sensor module and a blood pressure measurement device that improves the protection strength of and prevents damage to a surface that comes into contact with a living body. A sensor moduleof a blood pressure measurement deviceincludes: a sensor base; a pressure sensor portionfixed to the sensor base; a sensor head coverfixed to the sensor base, the sensor head coverforming a gap portionbetween an inner surfaceand the sensor baseand the pressure sensor portionand including a rubber portionthat forms, on an outer surface, at least a region that comes into contact with a living body and that allows pressure from a wristto transfer to the pressure sensor portionside; and a soft portiondisposed in the gap portionat least between the rubber portionand the pressure sensor portion, the soft portionhaving a lower hardness than the rubber portionand allowing pressure from the rubber portionto transfer to the pressure sensor portion
