Abstract

The present disclosure is directed to providing a monitoring device that can improve the accuracy in tracking ships. A monitoring device () according to the present disclosure includes a position information acquiring unit () configured to acquire position information of an object to be tracked; an estimating unit () configured to estimate a position of the object to be tracked displayed in an image captured of a predetermined region; and an information generating unit () configured to generate path information of the object to be tracked by supplementing, based on an estimated position of the object to be tracked, the position of the object to be tracked held between the position indicated by the position information acquired at a first timing and the position indicated by the position information acquired at a second timing later than the first timing.
