Abstract
In order to increase the security of value or security documents, a multi-luminescent security elementis provided which contains at least one first luminescence meansand at least one second luminescence means. The first luminescence meanscan be excited under first excitation conditions Sp-for the purpose of luminescence, and the second luminescence meanscan be excited under second excitation conditions Sp-for the purpose of luminescence, said second excitation conditions Sp-differing from the first excitation conditions Sp-. The multi-luminescent security elementis additionally equipped with at least one absorber meanswhich prevents an excitation of the at least one first luminescence meansunder the second excitation conditions Sp-for the purpose of luminescence.
