A shop terminal includes: an authentication information acquiring unit configured to acquire authentication information corresponding to a user terminal; an authentication information transmitting unit configured to transmit the authentication information acquired by the authentication information acquiring unit to a plurality of payment apparatuses; and an authentication result acquiring unit configured to acquire an authentication result for the authentication information from at least one of the plurality of payment apparatuses.
