Abstract
A connecting structure for medical use includes a male assemblyand a female connector. The male assemblyincludes a male connectorand a threadedly engageable cylinder. A male luer portionof the male connectorand a female luer portionof the female connectorare joined by turning the threadedly engageable cylinderin a tightening direction in a state where a female screwof the threadedly engageable cylinderand an engageable protrusionof the female connectorare threadedly engaged with each other. A torque limiting mechanismis disposed between an operation cylindermounted on an outer periphery of the threadedly engageable cylinderand the threadedly engageable cylinder. Engageable teethare formed in an inner periphery of one end portion of the operation cylinderover an entire periphery. A slitis formed in one end portion of the threadedly engageable cylinder. The slit is composed only of a straight portion extending from an end of the threadedly engageable cylinder in an axial direction. An area adjacent to the slitis provided as an elastically deformable portion. A first engageable clawengageable with the engageable teethis formed in the elastically deformable portion
