Abstract
A reperfusion device for an occluded vessel. The device includes a framework of struts that form a porous body comprising a collapsed delivery configuration capable of being stored in a microcatheter and an expanded deployed configuration when delivered to an occlusion and distal of the microcatheter. The framework of struts is constructed from a material visible under fluoroscopy and capable of recovering its shape in the expanded deployed configuration once released from the collapsed delivery configuration in the microcatheter.
