Abstract
Provided are an imaging apparatus, an imaging method, and a program that change a display form of a display unit in accordance with whether or not a display content of the display unit is visually recognizable. An imaging apparatus () includes a first display unit (), and a processor (), in which the processor () performs a determination process for determining whether or not a display content of the first display unit () is visually recognizable by a user, and a display control for displaying a first display including at least one of a captured image or a character in a case where it is determined through the determination process that the display content is visually recognizable, and for causing the first display unit () to display a second display that is a surface display in a case where it is not determined through the determination process that the display content is visually recognizable.
