Abstract
An information processing device () is provided with: a statistical information acquisition unit () which acquires statistical information about communication with another machine connected by a cable; an abnormality determination unit () which refers to the statistical information acquired by the statistical information acquisition unit () and determines an abnormality in the communication; and an abnormality notification unit () which notifies a master device of the determination result, when the determination result from the abnormality determination unit () indicates that the communication is abnormal.
