Abstract

The present invention relates to an edge connector () for a printed circuit board (), comprising an at least two-part housing () with a first housing part () and a second housing part (), wherein the first housing part () has a recess () in which at least one conductor () is arranged, said at least one conductor () having a first limb () with a first end () and a second limb () with a second end (), wherein the housing () comprises a first region () in a first plane (), in which each first end () protrudes out of the housing () in an assembly direction () in order to connect to a conductor track () of the printed circuit board (), and the housing () has a second region () in a second plane () which is arranged parallel and at a distance to the first plane () in the assembly direction (), wherein the second limb () is arranged at an angle of 90° to the first limb (), and the second limb () protrudes into a mating plug recess () in the second housing part () in a plug-in direction (). The present invention additionally relates to a printed circuit board assembly () with at least one such edge connector.
