Abstract
Fusion peptide inhibitors of human coronavirusE are provided. The fusion peptide inhibitors of HCoV-E include peptide #(SEQ ID NO:: HVLGDISGINASVVQIQKEIDRLNEVAKNLHESLIYLQE), and peptide #(SEQ ID NO:: HRLRQIRGIRARVVQIQKEIWRLNEVAKLLNESLIYLQE). The fusion peptide inhibitors of HCoV-E may be administered to a subject in need thereof to inhibit or prevent HCoV-E cellular entry or infection with HCoV-E. The fusion peptide inhibitors of HCoV-E may also be used in HCoV-E inhibition assays.
