Abstract

The invention relates to a gas generator (), especially for a vehicle safety system, comprising a sleeve () positioned inside the gas generator () which sleeve has first flow orifices () and encloses an ignition chamber () including first propellant (), wherein a combustion chamber () filled with a second propellant () is connected to the outside of the sleeve (), the combustion chamber being surrounded by a diffusor () located inside the gas generator () and having second flow orifices (), and comprising a baffle plate () which has third flow orifices () and surrounds the diffusor (), wherein the sleeve (), the diffusor () and the baffle plate () are adhesively bonded to each other.
